With that mold I should be able to make what I need either by vacu-forming (sounds cool and the pics look neat) or simply laying something up in fiberglass (something i am familiar with). Would it be possible for someone to make a plaster cast of the entire BOTTOM SIDE of their hatch cover and send it to me? I would be willing to pay shipping and we can work something out for your time and materials. Here is what I hope someone could find time to do for me. I had another member suggest building a frame and forming one out of plastic using vacuum and a heat gun, a technique I have no experience with, but am willing to attempt. ![]() Finding a replacement cover would seem to be all but impossible. The boat should be arriving in the next week or two. ![]() Hi all, My boy (6 yrs old) and I are proud owners of a NW 36 that is missing its hatch cover.
